About JAGB
JAGB stands for the Japanese Association of Greater Boston. The Japanese Association of Greater Boston was founded in 1965 to "conduct educational, cultural, welfare, charitable, and other activities and to encourage mutual friendship" for the benefit of Japanese people living in the area, and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015. 1908: The Japanese Association of Greater Boston was founded in 1908 as "Nihonjin Gakusei Kai Boston ( It is confirmed in documents that a Japanese organization called "Rugakusei no Kai" (留學生之會) was established in 1908, and it is said that this organization was succeeded and developed into our association later.
